Villa in Tuscany.

Late summer Italian charm and style in beautiful places!

La Traviata and Il Trovatore by Verdi at Teatro La Fenice in Venice. It is not hard to imagine 18th century Casanova and company masked and cloaked gliding to the opera in a gondola! The Barber of Seville by Rossini in a Venetian Palazzo on the Grand Canal and Vivaldi’s music in his own city in a Concert by baroque specialists. How exciting, as are visits to places of music and opera interest.

A truly unique experience and favourite place for Patricia’s Opera Tours is our 18th century villa in Tuscany perfectly set amidst vines and olive groves. After a week of masterclasses and study in the Villa with Maestro Wyn Davies, Dame Malvina Major’s young artists will entertain us in a Gala Concert on 1 or 2 October in the grand chandeliered Salone. We explore exclusive Tuscan gardens and villas, vineyards and villages. Invite your friends to attend the Concert.

Parma, a rich and charming provincial city and a great favourite with Patricia’s Opera Tours, is home of Parma ham, Parmesan cheese and top cuisine, and the heart of Verdi country.

The Verdi Festival opera season entices us with the early Verdi opera I Lombardi alla prima crociata in the stunning Teatro Regio.

We visit the Maestro’s birthplace and villa where he composed his great works. Famed tenor Luciano Pavarotti’s home and museum in Modena awaits us. Our young singers will perform in Guastalla near Parma.

Charming Lucca and Puccini’s life and times completes our Italy adventure.

THIS IS AN OPTIONAL EXTRA 6/8 October.
